On Thursday, May 7, 2015, Governor Ricketts declared a state of emergency for the affected areas in southeast Nebraska that were hit with tornadoes and flooding.

The toll-free disaster hotline is open to low-income Nebraskans with legal issues relating to the disaster. The number is 1-844-268-5627. The lines are open between 9am-noon Monday through Thursday and 9am-noon on Friday.
